Maria, the emo princess - Chapter 3

A while had passed, though I'm not sure how long, and the pain in my arm just got stronger. I knew days had to have passed because I knew I had gotten full night's rest at least two or three times. You know you get full night's rest when you wake up not feeling tired at all. I wondered what The Ice King was doing... What Finn and Jake were doing… If I had been more into Adventure Time, I would've known already. I knew my sanity went away a while ago when I wasn't shocked or freaking out at everything that was happening.
I needed to find a way out of here and find out what was going on, but the only one that could help, but didn't even know I was here was…
"Finn." As I whispered his name to myself, I saw there was a crack on the ice wall that surrounded me. Was that it? Could saying his name free me?
I stood up and went closer to the wall, then whispered, "Finn." The ice instantly shattered and I was able to escape. I smiled and carefully stepped out of the broken trap.
Unfortunately, I had escaped the trap the ice King made right when he had gotten know what to do. Finally, I found a small, dark cave that lied in the wall, right by the entrance to where he was.
It seemed empty. I crawled in. I could see the Ice King walking into the room he had trapped me in. He was humming lightly as he entered the room. As I saw him disappear into the room, I had myself prepared for whatever it is he would throw at me.
But wait. I had nothing to worry about. It was just the Ice King. When he would capture Finn and Jake, he'd just want to hang out with them. When he captured a princess I don't really remember, but I think it was so he wouldn't be alone and he could be happy. Why would he go through all this trouble to get me, though? I'm sure there are plenty of princesses in the Land of Ooo. What was so special about me?
I lost my train of thought and woke up from my dazed-up trance of questions as I heard a sudden Ice King scream. I knew I wasn't alone in the small cave when something bumped into me. I screamed myself out of the cave, like an idiot, to see the Ice King turn away from the pieces of shattered ice he held in his hands and smile with an evil laugh.
"Oh crap!" I stood frozen. I heard the thing that had bumped into me slowly walking out of the cave. I felt like the biggest idiot of life when I had realized it was Gunter, one of the Ice King's many penguins. They were cute but always the most annoying little things. I should've seen it coming.
The Ice King's chuckle brought Goosebumps throughout my entire body. "Fine work, Gunther. Nicely done."
I had to retreat fast. I couldn't go back into that cylinder-like dome of over-cooled ice again. My arm seemed like it was getting worse. Around the cuts, it was turning a cerulean shade with my veins showing so clearly around it. I finally decided to do something the Ice King would never expect me or anyone else to do.
I jumped out the cliff that was the opening of the mountain where the Ice King lived and the last I saw of him was his mouth dropped, wide-eyed face….. And Gunther's "Wemp."
